Abstract

|
An investigation has been made of 100 noncommissioned officers from 21 to 40 years of age in order to determine the applicability of periodontal disease rate in mass survey for periodontal disease.
It´ was found that the periodontal disease rate score showed not only the reasonable prevalence of periodontal disease, but also degree of pathogenesis. The score of periodontal disease rate was more significant than that of Russell´s index from these studies.
The mean age ´of those who have selected as survey sample was 29.22 years of age and the prevalence of periodontal disease showed 92.00 per cent. On the other hand, the average score of periodontal disease rate from this investigation resulted-as 0.35 0.023 and most prominent the subject distributed was the range from 0.15 to 0.299 periodontal disease rate score.
